A space for safeness, not just safety


I believe meaningful therapeutic work begins with safeness.

Safeness is more than simply being free from harm. It is the felt experience of warmth, understanding, predictability and connection — enough for the nervous system to begin softening its guard.


For many autistic and ADHD people, masking and self-monitoring have been important ways of navigating environments that have not always understood or accommodated their needs. Therapy should not become another place where you have to work hard to appear okay.


Instead, I hope therapy can offer space to become curious about what helps you feel safer, what costs you energy, what has protected you, and what allows you to feel more like yourself.

My Approach

How I work

My work is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, compassion-focused and relational.

I draw from approaches including Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and EMDR, adapting the work to the person rather than expecting the person to fit the therapy.

I am particularly interested in the relationship between the nervous system, protective strategies, masking, identity and belonging.

Who i work with

I work with children, adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting autistic and ADHD people and those exploring neurodivergence.

People may come to therapy for support with:

  • autistic or ADHD burnout 
  • masking and chronic self-monitoring 
  • anxiety and overwhelm 
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts 
  • emotional regulation 
  • rejection sensitivity 
  • identity and belonging 
  • school or workplace stress 
  • sensory and social overwhelm 
  • relationships and boundaries 
  • trauma and difficult life experiences 
  • self-understanding following diagnosis or identification 

You do not need to arrive with a clear diagnosis or a perfectly defined therapy goal. We can work that out together.

Upcoming Events

Currently accepting expressions of interest  for autistic young people (aged 8-14) to attend an autistic-led psycho-educational programme with their parent/caregiver.
